In this BunnyCDN review, I am going to show you the reason why I use this CDN for my blog and how to install it.
In this post: What Is a CDN (Content Delivery Network)?, I showed you why you have to use a CDN for your website or blog.
Now I am writing this BunnyCDN review because I want to tell you that this CDN provider is a great option for you.
When I was looking for a CDN, I was not looking for a cheap one or a free one. I was looking for the best.
Don’t get me wrong; there are very good CDNs out there, even free ones, but I was looking for a CDN with two characteristics:
A good CDN must be affordable for everyone. If many people use an affordable CDN it is good for the company.
And a good CDN must be trustworthy. I was looking for a CDN with 99.99% uptime.
For me, this CDN provider is affordable and trustworthy.
So, let’s begin this BunnyCDN review.
Note: this review contains affiliate links, which means I make a small commission if you end up signing up to BunnyCDN—at no extra cost to you.
So the first thing is: what is BunnyCDN?
What is BunnyCDN?
BunnyCDN was founded 16 years ago in Slovenia. It is a content delivery network service company. Until now their users have configured over 50,000 pull zones and this company delivers over 40,000TB worth of data every month.
Like I told you before, BunnyCDN is an affordable and trustworthy content delivery network.
Bunny CDN Features
It is time to see, in this BunnyCDN review, what the features of this content delivery network service are.
For me, the main ones are:
- 53 global data centers in 6 continents: This was the main reason to use BunnyCDN.
- 99.99% uptime: And they can do it. So far I have not had any problem with BunnyCDN.
- Fast email support: I have contacted them twice: once for billing and the next one because I didn’t know how to properly set up the CDN. The communication was fast.
- Pay-as-you-go: This was the second reason to use BunnyCDN. You pay for what you use. No less, no more.
- Realtime statistics: This is a good feature to know how the CDN is working for you’.
There are more good features that I can tell you in this BunnyCDN review, but for me, this technology is a part of a set of tools that I use to have a fast loading time for my blog.
If you want to know all the tools I use please read this post: How to improve your slow WordPress website (Ultimate 2021 Guide).
How to Set Up BunnyCDN in WordPress?
I am going to show you how to install this technology in this BunnyCDN review.
Let me tell you that the setup is easy, but you have to know one important concept before.
What is a Pull Zone?
To start using this CDN provider, you will first need to create a pull zone. Usually, a pull zone is created for each website. It tells the system where to find your files and how to serve them to your users.
After creating a new pull zone, it will create a new hostname address, such as mywebsite.b-cdn.net.
You will then be able to use this address to quickly deliver your content. It will automatically fetch and cache files from your existing server and make them available on the same URL.
For example, if you have a file at:
the same file will now be available at
Ok, let me tell you that I am using BunnyCDN for SEO purposes. Now, BunnyCDN is bunny.net.
First you have to create your account.
Then you will see this screen. You have to click on Pull Zones.
Once you click on Pull Zones, it is time for you to add your Pull Zone.
The only thing you have to do is name your Pull Zone and add your site in Origin URL.
Then you have to check Standard Tier. If you are a blogger or your website is new, this is the best option.
The Pricing Zone has to be all checked. You don’t know where your visitors will come from.
And trust me, this is all you have to do.
Now if you go back to the home screen and click on your Pull Zone, you will see this.
The only thing you have to do is click on Force SSL. And now that is all.
Please don’t touch anything else.
I know it is tempting to click on other features but remember this technology is part of a set of tools to have a fast loading time for your blog or website.
BunnyCDN Setup on WordPress
First, you have to download the plugin.
Then in the plugin you only have to write the name of your Pull Zone.
And then in WP Rocket you have to write the CNAME that this CDN provider gives you; I mean the url with the b-cdn.net
BunnyCDN Review Conclusion
I could talk more about this CDN provider but I would be lying. I don’t open my BunnyCDN account every day.
I just check it once monthly to see if everything is right.
I am writing this BunnyCDN review to tell you that this is a must-have tool that you have to use to improve the loading time of your blog or website.
What I want you to learn from this BunnyCDN review is that this tool is important and easy to use.
If you are a blogger then you only need the basic configuration that I am using, and you will see the difference in your loading time.
